In this book, Dr. Taylor develops more fully the treatment of the doctrine of the Atonement set out in the closing section of his earlier work, Jesus and His Sacrifice. Here he examines the whole of the New Testament evidence relating to the Atonement, and attempts a constructive statement of the theory in which attention is given to points which require further elucidation and treatment.
