Анотація:
In Dr. Bell's early days in China, people from other countries were usually referred to as "Foreign Devils" (and not without reason, considering the way China was often treated by other countries) -- hence the title of this book.

But for tens of thousands of grateful patients, Dr. Bell was "Chong Ai Hua", or "The Bell Who Is Lover of the Chinese People". His genuine love for the Chinese people, his sacrificial service, and his respect for their culture caused him to be looked upon as a true friend and colleague.
